Justin Krashefski is studying hard to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion at Florida Atlantic University. When he graduates, he will have a much firmer grasp of what it takes to be a successful personal trainer who can help people immensely improve their health and their life by taking their physical fitness more seriously. Here are three underrated skills he has learned are important for personal trainers so far:
- Listening. Personal trainers are only as effective as their communication skills. A huge skill set for trainers then, is listening. Justin Krashefski plans on hearing his clients out to ascertain their personal fitness goals before he starts to craft workout regimens for them to ensure they’re satisfied.
- Nutritional knowledge. Part of why listening is so important for personal trainers is because it allows them to determine any dietary shifts clients have to make to get the most out of their training. As Justin Krashefski knows, diet and nutrition are just as important as exercise in overall health. Knowing which foods will help which clients the most is a key ingredient for success for any personal trainer.
- Business savvy. Justin Krashefski plans to start his own fitness studio. In order to successfully serve as many clients as possible for as long as possible, he has to be able to think like a businessman and come up with a sound business strategy to keep his operations running.
Justin Krashefski lives and works in Boca Raton, Florida. A lifetime resident of South Florida, he knows how important physical fitness is to his community. He hopes to help everyone living in Boca Raton stay fit and healthy.
Justin Krashefski is a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise living in Boca Raton. He plans on opening his own fitness studio in the community after he earns his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University. He already has the aforementioned certification from the American Council on Exercise and an Associate’s degree in Sports Medicine from Keiser University, but Krashefski wants to leave no doubt in anyone’s mind that he’s a qualified personal trainer capable of helping people reach their goals and run his own fitness studio.
Justin Krashefski wanted to earn his certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a part of his total education plan in the subject of personal fitness because ACE advocates for personal trainers everywhere and ensures that all personal trainers in the United States are qualified to help people in their communities and contribute to the improvement of the overall health of people in the US. Justin Krashefski took advantage of ACE’s comprehensive training and certification programs so that he could better contribute to the nationwide community of personal trainers. One of ACE’s key issues that it conducts regular advocacy services for is incentivizing employee wellness programs, an issue that Krashefski thinks is very important for the health goals of all working Americans. Krashefski wanted to be a part of an organization working to bring better exercise plans to workplaces throughout the country.
Justin Krashefski is trying to get enough support together to open his first fitness studio.
Justin Krashefski is a former police officer with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department. He worked for four years there, protecting people from crime and violence and doing his part to make his community safe for everyone. Krashefski wanted to protect and serve others because he saw himself as a hero to those who needed help. He loves helping people and keeping them safe from harm. While he worked for the FLPD, Krashefski strived in everything he did to ensure that everyone he was responsible for was safe and protected from the rising threat of crime in the area. He hopes that his efforts made the streets a little more welcoming to everyone.
Justin Krashefski now works as a personal trainer in pursuit of opening his own fitness studio for his community in Boca Raton, Florida, a dream that is reinforced by the many lessons he learned when he worked for the FLPD. Justin Krashefski learned that sacrifice for the good of others takes many forms. It’s easy to frame oneself as the hero when you’re in a police uniform. You imagine yourself diving in front of bullets, rescuing children and babies from dangerous situations, catching the bad guys, cracking the case, etc. But these heroic actions are nothing without the everyday heroism that good police officers perform. It’s not always breaking the big case that helps people the most. Sometimes, it’s simply being in the right place at the right time to offer advice and guidance to prevent a crime or dangerous situation in the future.

Justin Krashefski is an aspiring personal fitness trainer based in Boca Raton, Florida. A native of South Florida, Krashefski has long worked in the community preaching the importance of high standards for physical fitness. A former high school athlete, Krashefski grew up practicing and training so that he could be ready for game day. He has also worked in physically demanding jobs for many years, including a stint with the United States Coast Guard and with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department. Helping his community and keeping people safe required Krashefski to maintain a high level of physical conditioning. He was constantly motivated to work hard in training and conditioning so that he could perform well in high-pressure situations with people’s lives on the line.
Justin Krashefski has always been a consistent and dedicated runner, swimmer, and weightlifter in his free time. Although he modestly claims that running on the beach in South Florida is hardly a workout at all—more like a pleasure cruise—his dedication to himself turned into a dedication to his community over time. After years of working to serve and protect his community, he decided to help people in a different way. Krashefski attended Keiser University and earned an Associate’s degree in Sports Medicine. He then used the knowledge and experience he gained earning that degree to earn certification as a personal trainer from the American Council for Exercise. Justin Krashefski started telling his family and friends about the importance of regular exercise until they couldn’t stand any more advice from him. He returned to school recently to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Attending FAU allows Krashefski to stay close to home and gain the education and experience to open his own fitness studio in the city so that he can spread his knowledge and passion to as many of his neighbors and members of his community as possible. His family is greatly relieved to see him apply his energy to learning more about how to develop fitness plans for customers instead of talking their ears off about the importance of regular exercise.
Justin Krashefski has already made many strides in starting his career as a professional personal trainer. Already licensed, he has helped people develop fitness programs that help with their overall health and assist them in leading healthy, long lives. Everyone knows by now how important regular exercise is, but people often don’t know how to start their exercise regimens. Krashefski hopes to provide solutions to these people so they can reach their fitness goals and feel better longer in life. Krashefski hopes to graduate from FAU soon.
Justin Krashefski espouses the benefits of a health mind, body and soul. He is known to many as a health and fitness advocate as he has dedicated his whole life in one way or another to maintaining health and excelling in athletic activity. At the root of this lifelong passion is a never-ending dedication to a strong workout schedule.
This exercise routine is composed of the best in a number of disciplines. Addressing such issues as strength, cardiovascular, conditioning, flexibility, speed, agility, and more, Krashefski has composed a routine of workouts that keep him and those who dare to workout with him in top physical shape. It is something that started when he was a young man, active like many children at a young age, but particularly involved in and excelling in a number of sports. He learned the lessons early and the correlation between dedication and success on the field. This was the foundation of a lifelong trek of workouts, weight rooms, miles on the track, on a bike, in the pool and much more. A daily routine is one thing, but Krashefski is an achiever that reveled in constantly finding his boundaries and pushing past them.
Continual improvement has been a cornerstone and he feels that having targets in mind are critical to a complete workout system. He continued his dedication to health beyond his formative educational years and upon graduating from high school, joined the United States Coast Guard, where he served for five years. His physical fitness helped him excel as a member and the physical demands in the service are certainly high. He moved on from the Coast Guard to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, where as an officer, he faced physical and mental demands where again he relied on his superior conditioning and mental toughness to perform as an officer of the law.
Physical achievements are the norm for Justin Krashefski, and he continues his athletic pursuits today. He has moved on from the police service in a path towards attaining higher education. He is working towards a career in sports medicine, and he now holds an Associate’s Degree in Sports Medicine and Fitness Technology from Kaiser University. At this time, he is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University. His ultimate goal is to open a business that can help athletes and private citizens alike to reach their fullest potential, prevent injuries and recover from them.
